Ygdalia del Valle Dominguez, MSN, FNP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Miami Regional University in 2023, a foreign medical graduate (FMG) of the Medical University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela, class of 1994. Ms. Dominguez held the position of clinical medical coding supervisor with Centerwell Primary Care, applying clinical knowledge to assess medical documentation, verify accurate coding, and perform auditing. Her leadership was instrumental in fostering collaboration and excellence within her team. She was a clinical documentation specialist with Centerwell from 2016 to 2021. Her expertise in managing Medicare/Medicaid Stars Programs demonstrates her commitment to quality care for seniors. Ms. Dominguez chose healthcare to help others and serve the community. With a passion for addressing caregiving, diabetes, and obesity, she believes in treating patients with the same dedication she would offer her loved ones, ensuring personalized, compassionate care. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, traveling, and the outdoors.
