I chose to become a doctor because I'm fascinated with the human body and want to make a difference in my patients' lives. I believe in helping patients and care teams by teaching them and encouraging learning. My love for geriatric medicine shows in my focus on complete care and preventing health problems. I finished my fellowship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. I was also the chief resident at St. Joseph Mercy. I earned my medical degree from King Faisal University. I have a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts—Amherst. I'm a certified physician executive and belong to the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Geriatric Society, American Association of Physician Leadership, and American College of Healthcare Executives. I was the chief of family medicine/pediatrics and Vice President, chief of staff at Sparrow Ionia Hospital. I focused on improving how we care for patients and their happiness with our services. When I'm not working, I enjoy solving jigsaw puzzles, spending quality time with my family and traveling.
