Ouida DeEdra Carr, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned multiple academic credentials as an alumnus of Herzing University, Central Texas College, and Columbus Junior College, including a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, With Honors Before joining CenterWell in 2022, Ms. Carr was a nurse practitioner with Signature Health Care in Marietta, GA. She previously was the MDS/Care Plan Coordinator of Manor Care, a Dialysis RN Charge Nurse at U.S. Renal Care and Fresenius Medical Corp. and a charge nurse and emergency room triage at Grady Memorial Hospital. Earlier in her career, she worked in the Adult Psychiatric Unit of Carl R. Darnall Army Community Hospital, Ft. Hood, TX. Ms. Carr chose healthcare to help patients and their families lead healthier, happier lives. For her, it was significant to have cared for the body, mind, and spirit of patients in the Armed Forces who have served our country. Her older adult patients hold a special place in her heart, and she pays close attention to the small details to ensure they feel heard. Outside of work, she enjoys taking walks, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
