Dr. Nancy Lao, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed her family medicine residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Riverside, California, in 1997 after an internship at the same institution. Dr. Lao earned her medical degree from Cebu Doctors University College of Medicine in Cebu City, the Philippines, in 1988 and obtained postgraduate training at Cebu Doctors Hospital. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Lao practiced family medicine with Intermountain Health's myGeneration Senior Clinic in Henderson, Nevada. From 2008 to 2020, she was the medical director of Premise Health's Golden Health Family Medical Center in Elko, NV. Dr. Lao, who is passionate about diabetes, heart health, and preventive care, values her connections with older adults. Her care philosophy centers on open communication, ensuring her patients feel heard and engaged in their healthcare.
