Mark Louis Wess, MD

Dr. Mark Wess, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health, and a B.S. in Pre-med and Chemistry from Xavier University. Dr. Wess has held esteemed academic appointments, including as a clinical instructor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, clinical associate professor at Clemson University, and associate professor at the University of Cincinnati. He brings a wealth of experience after working with MDLIVE as an urgent care virtual physician and serving as the SVP and chief information and analytics officer at Glidenet Healthcare. His tenure at Prisma Health saw him in pivotal roles as VP, Chief Health Information Executive, and Chief Medical Information Officer at Greenville Health System. Passionate about diabetes, heart health, and preventive care, Dr. Wess is committed to enhancing patient outcomes and improve healthcare delivery systems through his chosen path in medicine. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and making memories with his family.
