Dr. Khurshid Ahmed is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine. Dr. Ahmed graduated from Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and completed his residency there as well. He is also certified under the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Ahmed speaks English and Urdu. Dr. Ahmed always emphasizes the importance of preventive care to his patients by educating them about the lifestyle changes they can make to have a better quality of life and live longer. Dr. Ahmed has spent the last 20 years treating his patients at CenterWell, and what he still truly enjoys most is seeing his patients each day and taking the time to build relationships with them to truly get to the root of their needs and help relieve their biggest health concerns. Dr. Ahmed feels very strong about including his patients' families in their healthy journey so that they can all collaborate as a team in addressing the most important factors in their healthcare journey. When he's not at the office, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending quality time with his family, as well gardening and exercising.
