Kavithamani Mallan, FNP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Central South University in Savannah, Georgia, graduating with a 4.0. GPA. She obtained her RN-BSN degree from Grand Canyon University and a degree in General Nursing and Midwifery from KG School of Nursing in Coimbatore, India. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Mallan was a family nurse practitioner with B&D Integrated Health Services in Durham, NC. She previously was an RN at WakeMed Hospital in Cary, NC, and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Memphis, TN. Earlier, she was a staff nurse at Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust in Cardiff, Wales, and Vijaya Hospital in Chennai, India. With a deep respect for older adults and a passion for health promotion and disease prevention, Ms. Mallan chose healthcare out of a desire to help others and serve the community. She has offered health assessments at community health fairs, volunteered for fundraising events supporting organizations like the Anurag Foundation, and played a key role in disaster rescue efforts. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places with her family, and quality time with her friends.
