Helping others has always been “a lifetime goal” of Dr. Jorge Merino Herrera, so he knew early in life that he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. “What better way than promoting wellness and wellbeing,” he says. “Talking with patients” and helping them make changes in their lives is his favorite part of his profession. He prioritizes “listening” in his practice. “It's unbelievable the difference you can effect almost instantly when patients feel heard and that you are on their side,” he explains. He is passionate about prevention and the management of chronic diseases, particularly for his senior patients. In his free time, Dr. Merino Herrera enjoys reading, hiking, and swimming. He also enjoys watching Bollywood movies.
