Dr. Jaziel Llanes, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his residency at Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance in Phoenix, AZ, in 2024. Dr. Llanes earned his medical degree in 2019 and his Master of Public Health in 2014 from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grand Canyon University and an Associate's degree from Paradise Valley Community College. His research includes improving hospitalized patient experiences, community health education, health disparities at the Mexico-USA border, and the role of Omega-3 fatty acids. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Llanes served as a Public Health Educator for Maricopa County. His earlier roles include community health educator for Esperanca and director of public health for the Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Passionate about heart health, diabetes, and loneliness, he is committed to improving seniors' health and quality of life through personalized care. Dr. Llanes chose medicine to serve his community and help others thrive. In his free time, he enjoys family gatherings, exploring the outdoors, soccer, and Gunpla model building.
