Jalecia Maria Jones, MSN-FNP, has joined CenterWell as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Jones earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner, and her BSN from Winston-Salem State University, while achieving distinctions such as Honor Student and being actively involved in the National Society for Leadership and Success Chapter. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Jones worked as a Nurse Practitioner with Optum and has prior experience working in pain management. She began her career as a Registered Nurse at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, and later transferred to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She has many years of experience working as a Float Nurse within the Atrium Healthcare System, in addition to serving as Charge Nurse at Atrium Health Mercy. She values active listening as a means of enhancing patients' quality of life and supports patient-centered care. Ms. Jones decided to pursue a healthcare career to help others make their health a priority. She enjoys making memories with her family, traveling, and discovering the outdoors.
