Erica Woodson, APRN, FNP-BC, has joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a passion in renal and heart health. Ms. Woodson earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spalding University in Louisville, KY, and her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She is a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Eta Chi Chapter inductee. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Woodson was as an advanced practice nurse practitioner in Indiana and Kentucky. She also worked as a per diem provider at GROUPS Recover Together in Indianapolis and as a hospitalist in the ER of the University of Louisville Hospital. Her career has focused on older adults, and she especially enjoys treating seniors for the wisdom they impart and their awareness of their healthcare needs. She believes in empowering her patients, Care Team, and herself through accurate information and continuous learning. This philosophy supports CenterWells compassionate, patient-centered values. Ms. Woodson chose healthcare because the opportunities to impact the lives of others are endless. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys creating cherished memories with her family, traveling, and volunteering.
