Dr. Emilia Cristina Boffi, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed her residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Boffi earned her medical degree and Ph.D. in Sociocultural and Medical Anthropology from Michigan State University and holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Boffi founded a consultancy assisting veterans and, earlier, practiced at Desert Meadow Primary Care in Las Vegas, NV. She has co-authored publications and delivered presentations at prominent American Anthropological Association and Society for Cultural Anthropology conferences. She also has international experience in Namibia, Brazil, and India. Committed to addressing the intersection of social factors and health, Dr. Boffi chose medicine to empower patients to take an active role in their wellness and believes listening is vital to improving health outcomes in seniors. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and the outdoors.
