Dr. Elie Michel Osta, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his residency at Saint Luke's Medical Center in 1995. He earned his medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and later obtained an MBA from East Carolina University School of Business. Throughout his career, Dr. Osta has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Community Health Center Champion Award and the Outstanding Preceptor Award. From 1995 to 2024, he served as the chief medical officer and an attending physician at Contentnea Health (formerly Greene County Health Care), where he also provided nearly three decades of dedicated care to seniors at Greendale Forest Nursing Home. Earlier in his career, he held the role of emergency medical director at the EMS Dispatch Center in Snow Hill, NC, and provided care to inmates at the Eastern Correctional Facility in Maury, NC. Passionate about diabetes management, Dr. Osta chose a career in medicine to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults. In his free time, he enjoys reading and walking his dog.
