Dr. Edward Paul Isaacs, a board-certified family practice specialist, completed the Family and Community Health residency at Marshall University School of Medicine in 1991, following his internship at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Consortium of Hospitals. Graduating first in his class with a 4.0 GPA, Dr. Isaacs earned his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a B.S. in Medical Technology from Marshall University. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Isaacs served as medical director in settings including Theoria Medical, Concentra Health Services, Parkway Regional Hospital, Clinton-Hickman County Medical Clinic, and Summit Medical Group. His experience spans occupational health, rehabilitation programs, urgent care, and working with seniors as medical director for multiple nursing homes. Passionate about brain health, heart health, and diabetes, he shares the philosophy that listening to patients is key to improving their health and quality of life. Dr. Isaacs chose medicine to make a meaningful impact by helping patients focus on their health. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
