Dr. Donessa Fraser, a board-certified family medicine specialist, always wanted to have the opportunity to touch people's lives to alleviate pain and suffering and improve wellbeing. Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Fraser worked as a primary care provider in outpatient and inpatient settings and nursing home settings, where most of the patients in her care were seniors. She spent three years managing patients in a nursing home and says that her previous roles have given her experience in catering to the unique medical needs of older adult patients. At CenterWell, Dr. Fraser values the team approach to taking care of patients and admires the resources that enable her to provide excellent, individualized, patient-centered care. On a personal note, Dr. Fraser is proud of her ability to be resilient and remain calm under stress. She is married and has two adult children. Her hobbies include studying new languages, learning piano, painting, jewelry-making, and gardening.
