Dr. Binh Ngoc Tran, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his family medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2006. Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from Saint Matthew's University School of Medicine in 2001 and a B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA in 1997. He served as an assistant professor of physician assistant studies at Touro University Nevada from 2006 to 2007. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Tran practiced family medicine at Village Medical in Las Vegas, NV. He previously held a leadership role with Intermountain Healthcare in Las Vegas, NV, as the physician-in-charge for urgent care and primary care clinics. Early in his career, he provided emergency care as an ER physician at W. O. Moss Memorial Regional Medical Center. Dr. Tran chose medicine to help others and serve the community. Intensely interested in diabetes, heart health, and caregiving, he focuses on older adults, and his approach to patient care is centered on compassion. Dr. Tran believes taking the time to listen to his patients is key to improving their health and quality of life. Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering, the outdoors, and traveling.
