Virtual doctor visits have become especially common since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, patients are finding it easier than ever to connect with their doctors.

 

CenterWell offers TeleVisits that allow patients to connect to their doctor—from anywhere with an internet connection. A remote visit helps to mitigate the spread of viruses and pathogens, as well as allow people to fit visits into their schedules without finding childcare, commuting, or missing work.

There are several benefits to virtual doctor's visits, like:

How to virtually visit your CenterWell doctor

It’s never been easier to connect with your doctor! CenterWell patients have access to their doctors from the privacy of their own home. It’s easy to get started. 

Log in to the Patient Portal

On your desktop, tablet, or mobile phone, log in to the Patient Portal. Your Patient Portal is a secure and easy way to access your health information. Visit our Health Portal page where you can log in to your account or view instructions to download the healow app. 

Request a TeleVisit with your doctor

Once you have logged in to the Patient Portal, you can request a TeleVisit appointment with your CenterWell doctor. Use the TeleVisit option for non-emergency purposes, like follow-up care, questions, or prescription refills. 

Join your TeleVisit

When it’s time for your appointment, go to the Patient Portal login page on your computer or healow  app and click ‘Join a TeleVisit.’ From there, enter the 12-digist access code given to you by your provider. You’ll be connected to your doctor and your virtual appointment will begin. 

Take advantage of TeleVisit through CenterWell

Using TeleVisits to meet with your doctor can help you stay on top of your health. After you’ve met with your doctor virtually, you can schedule an in-person or virtual follow-up to discuss aftercare. You can check your Patient Portal for notes from your doctor, schedule a new appointment, or view results from any testing. By using the TeleVisit option, you can conveniently check in with your physician from the privacy of your own home.
