Troy Jesse Schumacher, MD

Dr. Troy Schumacher, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2011. Dr. Schumacher earned his medical degree from AUC School of Medicine in 2005. He received his BA in Biology from the University of Missouri, St Louis. Dr. Schumacher's accolades include the Patients' Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Recognition, the Best of Pahrump Physician Bronze Award, National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Awards, and 2nd Place, Highest Patient Satisfaction at Healthcare Partners of Nevada. His research has been published in The Journal of Biological Chemistry. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Schumacher practiced at Intermountain Healthcare/DaVita/Healthcare Partners of Nevada since 2011. His work with the rural community of Nye County for 12 years underscores his affinity with seniors. Passionate about nutrition, exercise, and obesity, he believes listening to his patients is vital for their well-being. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and traveling.
