Susanna M Shepard, APRN

Susanna Marie Shepard, MSN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Tennessee with a perfect GPA in 2006. She received a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Rice University in 2001 as a scholarship athlete in Division 1 Swimming. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Shepard was a family nurse practitioner at Kintegra, a Federally Qualified Health Clinic in Gastonia, NC, and previously, an NP with Psychiatric Services of The Carolinas, Button Family Practice in Canon City, CO, and Carolina Urgent and Family Care in Lancaster, SC. Passionate about caregiving and issues like obesity and loneliness, Ms. Shepard believes taking the time to listen to her patients can enhance their health and quality of life. She treasures her senior patients' stories and experiences, integrating their insights to inform her treatment approach, and she has worked tirelessly to provide compassionate care to underserved populations. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, the outdoors, and going to the movies.
