Sabrina Tanis Finney, MD

Dr. Sabrina Tanis Finney joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Finney completed her family medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spelman College. A Meharry Medical College Outstanding Faculty Award recipient and Gold Humanism Society inductee, her academic appointments include assistant professor of Family and Community Medicine at Meharry Medical College, assistant professor of Clinical Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and attending physician at Vanderbilt University Hospital. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Finney was the site medical director of Wellpath, Davidson County Sheriff's Office; a hospitalist at Saint Thomas Hospital West; collaborating physician with the United Healthcare House Calls Program; and medical director with Optum Care Plus. Dedicated to older adults, she embraces CenterWell's culture of caring. Dr. Finney pursued medicine with a passion for helping others and serving her community. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, quality time with family, reading, and watching movies.
