Marianne Cecille Ray, MD

Dr. Marianne Ray joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Ray's medical journey began after significant surgeries in her childhood. Her dream of becoming a doctor led her from her birth country to the U.S., attending Florida State University and the University of Miami. Dr. Ray completed her family medicine residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, holding a medical degree, two bachelor's degrees, and a master's. Recognized as her chemistry department's Undergraduate Student of the Year, she's a Phi Kappa Phi and Golden Key honor societies member. Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Ray was the medical director of a nursing facility, directed a rural health clinic, and acted as clinical director of a downtown clinic, supervising nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Dr. Ray emphasizes patient-centered care, valuing equality in communication and endless compassion in the doctor-patient relationship, supporting CenterWell's core values. In her free time, she enjoys playing classical guitar, learning the mandolin, embroidery, and gardening. With a multicultural family, Dr. Ray takes pride in her French-American son and Italian husband.
