Heidi S Cammer, APRN

I chose to work in healthcare to help and serve others. My love for older adults and my experience helps me provide the best care possible. I believe health can only be achieved when treating the whole person. This includes physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental aspects. I appreciate value-based care and the kindness I see towards patients and staff at our center. I went to Winston-Salem State University where I finished at the top of my class in the Master of Science in the Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner program. I'm part of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. I was honored with the Star Award when I was a nurse care manager at Humana At-Home. I worked as a certified family nurse practitioner at Quality Comprehensive Health Center in North Carolina. I also worked in critical care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. My motto in life is, 'Whenever life hammers you, bounce back with a smile. Love, compassion, and kindness are the foundation of a happy life.' I love seeing kindness in others, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with my three children.
