Carolina Aceves, FNP-C, joined CenterWell as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has worked as a healthcare professional since 2016. A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston, Ms. Aceves is a proud Daisy Award recipient. Prior to joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Aceves worked as a family nurse practitioner with Rios Healthcare, where she gained extensive experience caring for geriatric patients. She previously practiced as a registered nurse in Pulmonary Acute Care Unit at Texas Childrens Hospital. Before that, she worked as a registered nurse in Critical Care at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC. Practicing in hospital and outpatient settings has allowed her to see the importance of continuity of care and communication with patients to avoid complications to their health. Ms. Aceves entered the healthcare field to help reduce the language barrier for the Hispanic patient population and improve their access to care. She enjoys interacting with her patients and establishing rapport to help them continue their everyday lives while managing their health. And she believes in caring for her patients as if they were family members. In her free time, she likes to go dancing with her husband, take walks with her Corgi, and visit new restaurants and cafes.
