Carolina Aceves, APRN

Carolina Aceves, FNP-C, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She has worked as a healthcare professional since 2016. A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston, Ms. Aceves is a proud Daisy Award recipient. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, she was a family nurse practitioner with Rios Healthcare, caring for older adults. Ms. Aceves previously practiced as an RN in the Pulmonary Acute Care Unit at Texas Children's Hospital and earlier in Critical Care at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC. Practicing in hospital and outpatient settings has allowed her to see the importance of continuity of care and communication with patients to avoid complications to their health. Ms. Aceves chose her career to help break down the language barrier for the Hispanic patient population and improve their access to care. She believes in caring for her patients as if they were family members. She enjoys interacting with her patients and establishing rapport to help them continue their everyday lives while managing their health. In her free time, she likes to go dancing with her husband, take walks with her Corgi, and visit new restaurants and cafes.
