Dr. Jack Yang joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese and a self-described huge proponent of value-based care, Dr. Yang is delighted to be part of CenterWell. Dr. Yang completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University in Stanford, California. Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Yang was an urgent care physician at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he provided acute medical care in a non-emergency setting for three years. Dr. Yang describes the right doctor-patient relationship as one that is easy-going and built on trust. He believes that working hard and treating people with respect are the keys to patient satisfaction, a philosophy in sync with CenterWell's approach to care. Dr. Yang entered the medical profession to connect with people and enjoys developing relationships with patients and staff. In his free time, Dr. Yang loves rock climbing with friends, playing the piano (he's a concert pianist!), going to the park with his dogs, and spending time with his girlfriend and son.
