Neva Allison is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Primary Care. She recently joined the team at CenterWell Old National in GA with 10 years of healthcare experience, an MSN from South University and a passion for helping people reach optimal health.
Former employers include Piedmont Hospital for three years and United Healthcare for two, where she performed comprehensive physical exams, and diagnosed and established evidence-based treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic conditions. According to Neva, one of the most satisfying aspects of her profession is being able to make a difference in her patients’ well-being by guiding them in disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.
Neva is aligned with CenterWell’s care model and pillars, describing the atmosphere at her center as “welcoming and compassionate.” Her prior experience treating geriatric populations began as an RN and later as an NP Hospitalist, which included work in nursing home and in-home settings. Her philosophy of care is to listen to her patients carefully and treat them holistically. Her philosophy of life is: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
In her spare time, Neva likes to travel, read, do home improvements, and spend time with her family; her husband, 24-year-old daughter, and 13-year-old son.
