There are 2 ways to register your Patient Portal account:
1. Get a personalized link from your healthcare provider
Step 1: Stop by the front desk of your healthcare provider and ask them to verify your email address. Once verified, they will send you a personalized link via email.
Step 2: Once you receive the portal registration email, follow the Create My Account button to complete the portal registration process.
2. Register online
Step 1: Follow Patient login to navigate to the athenahealth portal login page.
Step 2: Select Create an Account to be guided through the portal registration.
Please note: Each portal account must have a unique email address. Email addresses cannot be shared for athenahealth Patient Portal accounts. Use your email for your own Patient Portal account. An email address is required to have electronic access to your medical information through the Patient Portal.

We prioritize the privacy and security of your health information. Access to personal information is secure through your username and unique password. 2-factor authentication is required when you create your account to verify and secure your profile. Patient email addresses for portal accounts must match those on file in our athenahealth@ electronic health record.
All current patients are eligible to enroll with an email address and a signed General Consent form.
Your username will be the email address you used to register.
You will receive a temporary password when you register. The temporary password will need to be replaced when you activate your account.
If you forgot your password and you have signed in at least once before, you can retrieve your password through the Patient Portal.
Step 1: Select Patient login to navigate to the athenahealth portal login page.
Step 2: Once you have landed on the athenahealth portal login page, select Forgot password.
If you try logging in first and it doesn’t work, you’ll still have the option to use Forgot password on the login screen.
Step 3: Enter the email address associated with your account and select Email me to receive a password reset link.
Step 4: Open the email from the portal and select Reset Password. Then follow the instructions for creating a new password.
Yes, you can update your contact details directly through the portal. Go to My Profile, then Contact Information to submit your changes. Once submitted, your center’s staff will review and confirm the updates.
Lab results will be available on the Patient Portal. However, we recommend that you speak to your healthcare provider to answer all your questions.
If you’re experiencing technical difficulties with your athenahealth Patient Portal, make sure you are using an internet-enabled device with the most up-to-date version of one of the following browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.

You’ll still be able to view your historical medical records and past visit information through your previous portal. Unfortunately, you will no longer be able to message your care team from this account. Visit Healow
