Yeshewaget Legesse, APRN

Yeshewaget Legesse, DNP, AGPCNP, a doctorally prepared, board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University. She obtained her MSN, AGPCNP, and RN-BSN degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington and an Associate Degree in Science from Collin County Community College District, receiving her nursing diploma in 1988 from the Asmara School of Nursing in Ethiopia. Her distinctions include a Full Scholarship Award for Nursing Education, the Dean's List, Scholastic Recognition, RN-BSN Program, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing induction. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Legesse worked with Aspire Health Care, Quest Care/Envision, OPTUM ISNP Complex Population Management, and NP Concepts. Earlier, she worked as an RN at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Kindred White Rock Hospital. She cherishes older adults for their wisdom and feels compassion for people of all ages and circumstances. Ms. Legesse chose healthcare with a heartfelt connection to seniors and to safeguard their quality of life. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
