Yaneris Colon Barreto, MD

Yaneris M. Colon, MD is a dedicated and compassionate physician with a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical care. Dr. Colon earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in 2016 and holds a Master's in Health Care Administration from Walden University. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, Recinto de Mayaguez. Dr. Colon is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and holds a certificate in HIPAA Privacy and Security Awareness. Dr. Colon has served as a physician at Orlando Family Medical, where she conducts routine check-ups, assesses patients' health conditions, and provides advice on healthy habits and preventative actions. Dr. Colon also worked in the emergency rooms of several hospitals in Puerto Rico, including Hospital Metro Pavia Mayaguez, Yauco, and San German. She has also served as a Medical Assistant at PHA LLC and completed a medical internship at Hospital Metro Pavia Perea Mayaguez. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Colon enjoys cooking, being outdoors, listening to music and spending time with her family.
