William Suarez, MD

Dr. William Suarez joined CenterWell as an internal medicine specialist. Dr. Suarez completed his internal medicine residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, in 2023. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, and subsequently specialized in family medicine at the same institution, graduating in 1995. After relocating to the U.S., he obtained his Master of Science in Nursing in 2010 and his BSN in 2005 from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Suarez was an internal medicine resident and previously cared for patients as a nurse practitioner at CareMax and La Colonia Medical Center in Miami, FL, and Del Prado Medical Center in Cape Coral, FL. Dr. Suarez's passion for heart health reflects his dedication to providing compassionate care to older adults. His care philosophy, in harmony with CenterWell's values, emphasizes treating patients with the same commitment he would offer his loved ones. Dr. Suarez chose medicine for the immense opportunity and privilege of improving people's lives. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and quality time with his family.
