Vanessa Porras, APRN

Vanessa Porras, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Post-Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2022 from Grand Canyon University. She also obtained her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Public Health in 2017 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 from the same institution. Mrs. Porras received an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Mesa Community College in 2006. She brings a wealth of experience caring for acute and chronic conditions. Before joining us in 2024, Mrs. Porras was a family nurse practitioner with Desert Bloom Family Medicine. Her previous roles include case management, focusing on chronic disease management and interdisciplinary care with Honor Health John C. Lincoln Medical Center and Banner Health Network. Committed to promoting exercise and overall wellness among older adults, she believes that taking the time to listen to her patients is vital to improving their health and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time her husband and three boys, and traveling.
