Vallaree Nicole Goodwin, FNP, has joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. Goodwin earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and an associate degree from Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Goodwin was a family nurse practitioner with Vanderbilt Primary Care Clinic in Nashville, Tennessee, and served as an adjunct faculty member of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Earlier, she was the sole provider and manager of CareHere Clinic, a retail, on-site medical clinic for Nashville Airport employees. She also worked in collaboration with psychiatrists at Spine Consultants, a private interventional pain management practice. Ms. Goodwin values caring for older adults and helping them achieve better health outcomes. Her philosophy of care centers on the belief that taking the time to listen to her patients is crucial for improving their health and quality of life. She appreciates CenterWells team approach to providing excellent care for older adults. Ms. Goodwin chose a career in healthcare out of a passion for helping others and serving her community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
