Ugomma S Abanukam, APRN

Ms. Ugo Abanukam, DNP, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in critical care, long-term care, and public health. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Abanukam has provided care in skilled nursing facilities across Georgia, where she managed complex chronic conditions and led interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. She served as a Clinical Educator for Medical Director Services and as a Clinical and Lab Instructor at Georgia State University, mentoring future nurses through hands-on training and simulation. Her public health experience includes working with the CDC to conduct disease risk assessments and health education for international travelers. Ms. Abanukam is also certified in wound care and excisional debridement. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and listening to music.
