Troy Rice, DO

Dr. Troy Rice, DO, specializes in family medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his undergraduate studies in Human Biology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Rice completed his residency in Family Medicine at Valley Health System in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he also served on the Program Evaluation and Recruitment Committees and mentored incoming residents. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient-centered primary care. He has contributed to scholarly activities including a quality improvement project on inpatient sign-out procedures and a review of hypertension for a leading family medicine textbook. Dr. Rice has also been active in community service and student mentorship throughout his training. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fiction writing, podcasting, sports analytics, trivia, blogging, golf, basketball, and video games.
