Troy Joseph Baumann-Freund, APRN

Mr. Troy Joseph Baumann-Freund, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in nursing, healthcare leadership, and quality improvement. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University and holds both a Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University–Mankato. Mr. Baumann-Freund has served in diverse clinical and leadership roles across the globe, including Naval hospitals in Guam, Okinawa, Pensacola, and Naples, as well as in Japan and Kuwait. His expertise spans primary care, women's health, forensic examinations, and military medical readiness. He has led multidisciplinary teams, implemented innovative care strategies, and contributed to research and education within the Navy Nurse Corps. His dedication to service has earned him multiple commendations from the Navy, Marine Corps, and Army. Outside of his professional life, he is passionate about advancing healthcare standards and mentoring future practitioners.
