Tomas Perez, MD

Dr. Tomas Perez, MD, is a family medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric populations. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and completed his family and community medicine residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Perez has practiced in a variety of outpatient primary care settings, most recently delivering care within value based, Medicare Advantage models. His clinical interests include diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular health, with a strong emphasis on prevention and proactive care. Dr. Perez's practice philosophy centers on partnership rather than paternalism—he believes in equipping patients with clear medical information and resources so they can make informed decisions aligned with their personal values and circumstances. He has extensive experience caring for older adults and is deeply committed to supporting their independence, health, and quality of life. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and playing pickleball.
