Thihalolipavan Sayalolipavan, MD

Dr. Thihalolipavan Sayalolipavan joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Pavan (as he is called) completed his family medicine residency at Southside Hospital Bayshore-North Shore Medical System in New York. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ceylon, Colombo, in Sri Lanka. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Pavan saw patients at Greenfield Health and Rehab in Lancaster, NY, for 23 years, as medical director for the last eight years. Earlier, he provided outpatient care across age groups and served as an attending physician to the Family Medicine Residency Program at ECMC Hospital. His belief in compassionate patient care aligns seamlessly with CenterWell's guiding principles. Born in Sri Lanka to a renowned physician, Dr. Pavan attributes his career choice to his father's unwavering dedication to patients. He values meeting diverse patients, applying his philosophy 'Help ever, hurt never,' emphasizing mutual respect and patient education. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, singing devotional songs, playing drums, and woodworking, reflecting his love for family and pride in his two physician sons and four grandchildren.
