Theodore M Pappas, MD

Dr. Theodore Michael Pappas, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician with more than 36 years of experience caring for patients across the lifespan. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Over the course of his career, he has provided outpatient and hospital based care, founded and operated a solo family practice, supervised nurse practitioners, and served as a medical director for a nursing home and rehabilitation center. Dr. Pappas is passionate about improving access to care and promoting healthy lifestyles, believing deeply in guiding patients with the same concern and honesty he offers his closest friends and family. His approach centers on listening, collaboration, and empowering individuals to make informed medical decisions. Outside of medicine, he enjoys gardening, caring for his chickens and dogs, traveling, and playing guitar and singing.
