Teresa Horst, MD

Dr. Teresa Horst, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician dedicated to empowering patients through collaborative, patient centered care. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage and completed her medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean before finishing her residency training in Greenville, Mississippi. As a new primary care provider, Dr. Horst is passionate about guiding individuals to achieve the level of health they desire through open dialogue, shared decision making, and evidence based recommendations. Her warm and approachable style helps patients feel comfortable, heard, and engaged in their wellness journey. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, crocheting, board games, puzzles, and binging Disney+. She also loves karaoke, pub trivia, escape rooms, and trying anything new. Dr. Horst proudly shares her home with her two beloved cats, Kuzco and Rajah.
