Teresa Denise Piles-Horton, APRN

Ms. Teresa Denise Piles-Horton, MSN, APRN, NP-C, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care, chronic disease management, and geriatric health. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. Ms. Piles-Horton has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including at CenterWell Primary Care for Seniors, McDonald Army Health Center, and Dominion Patient Care Services. Her career spans military, civilian, and community health settings, where she has provided compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse populations. She has led initiatives in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, addiction recovery, and health education, and has supervised interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her active participation in professional organizations and her mentorship of healthcare staff. Outside of her clinical work, Ms. Piles-Horton enjoys doing volunteer work, spending time with family, and reading books.
