Takaira Cuyler, APRN

Ms. Takaira Akasha Cuyler, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She has experience caring for adults with acute and chronic health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and substance use disorders. Ms. Cuyler worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in correctional healthcare settings, where she conducted comprehensive assessments, developed individualized care plans, managed chronic conditions and provided preventive care and patient education. She also served as a registered nurse in surgical and neurological care settings, supporting patients through preoperative, postoperative and recovery processes. Inspired by her own health challenges, Ms. Cuyler entered healthcare to help others and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that treats each person as a whole. She is especially passionate about heart health, exercise and nutrition. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and helping others in her community.
