Syerra Lea, DO

Dr. Syerra Nicole Lea, DO, specializes in Family Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine-Midwestern University. With more than 12 years of experience in primary care, Dr. Lea provided comprehensive care for adolescents, adults, and older adults, with a strong focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and continuity of care. She managed large patient panels and consistently achieved high patient satisfaction and quality outcomes. Dr. Lea also served as a Physician Site Lead, providing clinical and operational leadership, supporting physician recruitment and mentorship, and leading workflow and quality improvement initiatives. Her additional contributions included developing clinical guidelines, improving physician scheduling processes, and training newly hired physicians. Dr. Lea believes that listening to patients is key to improving quality of life and health. She entered medicine because of her deep commitment to seniors and safeguarding their quality of life and is especially passionate about heart health. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, traveling, and spending time with family.
