Susan M Benesh, APRN

Ms. Susan Marie V. Benesh, DNP, AGNP-C, FN, FAWM, FAAMM, is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiology, preventive health, weight management, endocrinology and healthy aging. She earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Purdue University and also completed a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. Ms. Benesh provided care in cardiology, primary care, integrative medicine and emergency settings, with extensive experience serving adult and older adult populations. She held leadership, training and educator roles as a professor at Purdue University Global, an instructor for nursing education programs and a national clinical trainer for advanced practice providers. Her background also included clinical research, community health, disaster response and medical missions. Guided by a philosophy of empowering patients through education and continual learning, she is passionate about caregiving, heart health, nutrition, diabetes management, brain health and exercise. Outside of work, Ms. Benesh enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, traveling and being with family.
