Stephanie Velasquez, MD

Dr. Stephanie Velasquez, MD, specializes in family and community medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and completed her residency in Family and Community Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Dr. Velasquez has contributed to clinical research in behavioral health and maternal care and held roles as a clinical and research laboratory technician. She has served as a workshop facilitator and instructor for medical students and residents in areas such as obstetrics, dermatology, and women's health. Her leadership includes mentoring through the UNLV Family Medicine Interest Group and serving on multiple Graduate Medical Education committees. Outside of medicine, Dr. Velasquez enjoys listening to music, finding great restaurants, and spending time with family and pets.
