Dr. Stella Rose Staley has joined CenterWell as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Staley completed her internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, where she earned her medical degree. She obtained her B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Georgetown College in Kentucky. Her dedication to her field is evident through her University of Kentucky Medical School Alumni membership and affiliations, such as Faculty in Physician Assistant Studies and as a community presenter for the Annual Domestic Violence Lecture at the University of Kentucky. Her honors include the Alpha Lambda Delta Award and recognition as an Outstanding Student in various disciplines. She has authored peer-reviewed published research. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Staley maintained a private practice in Lexington, KY, for three decades, followed by ten years with the Veterans Administration. Her profound connection to seniors stems from her extensive background. Passionate about brain health, heart health, nutrition, and well-being, she believes in empowerment through knowledge for her patients, her Care Team, and herself, a care philosophy perfectly harmonious with CenterWells principles. Dr. Staley chose medicine for the countless opportunities and the privilege to impact peoples lives across generations positively. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and listening to music.
