Silpa Choday, MD

Silpa Choday, MD, specializes in internal medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from American International Medical University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Choday cared for adult and older adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, emphasizing preventive, comprehensive, and patient-centered care. Her experience caring for seniors strengthened her focus on preserving independence, addressing functional goals, managing complex conditions, and involving patients and families in care decisions. Before entering medicine, she worked in software engineering, bringing a unique analytical perspective to patient care. Dr. Choday also contributed extensively to medical research, authoring more than 75 publications and presenting at national and international conferences. She believes in treating patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment she would give those closest to her and is especially passionate about heart health, diabetes, nutrition, and obesity prevention. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors.
