Sherry Montoya-Velasquez, APRN

Sherry Montoya-Velasquez is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and is credentialed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and thus has 15 years of clinical experience. Ms. Montoya-Velasquez has extensive experience in primary care, having worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Estrella Specialty Medical Care, where she provided comprehensive care and developed treatment plans for various acute and chronic conditions. Her clinical background also includes roles as a Registered Nurse at prestigious institutions such as Mayo Clinic Hospital, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America. In these roles she cared for patients across hematology/oncology and medical-surgical settings. In addition, Ms. Montoya-Velasquez has leadership experience in clinical management in home healthcare. She is deeply committed to delivering patient-centered care with a holistic approach. Outside of her professional duties, she enjoys volunteering, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
