Shelly Tang, MD

Shelly Tang, MD, is a Family Medicine physician who earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the same institution, where she cared for patients across a variety of clinical settings. Throughout her training, Dr. Tang provided primary care, women's health services, and preventive care for diverse patient populations, including uninsured and underserved individuals. She also participated in research, published scholarly work, and helped teach and mentor medical students through clinical skills workshops and evaluations. Dr. Tang has a special interest in brain health, caregiving, exercise, and supporting older adults. She believes in empowering patients and care teams through education, accurate information, and lifelong learning. Inspired by her commitment to protecting the quality of life of seniors, she strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of work, Dr. Tang enjoys spending time with family, traveling, listening to music, and training for half-marathons.
