Shawndolyn Lebine, NP, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. Lebine earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Her academic appointments have included ASN Department Chair at South Louisiana Community College. Ms. Lebine always had a desire to help others, and thanks to her chosen profession, she is able to do just that. Since 2012, she has worked as a family nurse practitioner in hospital, urgent care, and family practice settings. Ms. Lebine believes in a mutually respectful provider-patient relationship with open communication and the opportunity for each party to have buy-in. At CenterWell, she enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team and appreciates having the extra time to spend with her patients to ensure their treatment plan is understood and their expectations have been met. Ms. Lebine has genuine love and concern for her patients and provides them with the same kind of care she would want for herself and her family. Happily married with two grown daughters and a grandson, outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, fishing, and attending church.
