Shari Niele Hollins, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing cum laude from Vanderbilt University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry cum laude from Tennessee State University. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mrs. Hollins was a family nurse practitioner with Ascension Medical Group in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Treating a large senior population, she enjoyed hearing stories about their lives while helping them to maintain good health. Earlier, she was a family nurse practitioner with Achieve Medical Weight Loss and CVS MinuteClinic. Ms. Hollins practiced as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She believes that listening closely to her patients is crucial for improving their health and quality of life. Mrs. Hollins chose the healthcare field because, she said, “It is always given me a sense of purpose to help people no matter the circumstance. Being a healthcare provider allows me to help others achieve and maintain a healthy and happy life. I could not ask for a better career.” In her free time, she enjoys building custom furniture, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
